Originally written on the day of the 9/11 attacks, "Fall of the Two Towers" debuted soon afterward on the "Resist the Command 2" multi-artist compilation by Dystopian Records. In 2003, the band issued a full EP of remixes on the two-year anniversary of the event, with each interpretation named after a stage of the grieving process. In the band's own words, the release was "not a political statement outside of the fact that it condemns violence on all sides-- both the attack itself, and the bloodshed that followed and continues to this day."

"Fall of the Two Towers" was reissued by the Slave Indvstries Collective in 2010 as a free download to mark the ninth anniversary of 9/11.
